Welcome to Women United Recovery Coalition (WURC), a community of women, the loved ones who support them,
and the professionals dedicated to fostering recovery from female pornography addiction.
Because women and girls get caught in the web of pornography addiction and harmful beliefs about sexuality, they also need support in recovery,
As Johann Hari says, “The opposite of addiction is not sobriety; the opposite of addiction is connection.” Connection heals.

RESEARCH HAS SHOWN THAT MANY CHILDREN ARE EXPOSED TO PORNOGRAPHY BY OTHER CHILDREN. Talk to your kids and make sure they know to inform you if they see something that makes them feel uncomfortable, or involves pornographic images. Make sure they know what "pornography" means, and how pornographic images can change how their brains work.
You can’t always be there to protect your children, but you can teach them to protect themselves.
